A Wandering Break

So, its the middle of January and we have not posted for a while – what’s up with that?  Sorry for the long delay, dear readers!  In December we were unexpectedly called home to help with some family matters, and although we were sad to interrupt our journey, it turned out to be such a blessing in disguise as we were able to spend Christmas with much of our family and see most of our grandchildren who we have been missing sorely. So, in the end, it was a very good thing.  We are still in Nanaimo  (notice how bundled up we are in the pic above!) but are hoping to be back on the road again in early February.  We pretty much have to, since we left our van (you remember, Vincent Van-go!) down in Waco with our daughter and her husband.  It makes us happy, on these dark January days, to know that soon we will feel the warmth of the sun down in Texas once again.  I will hopefully get a blog post up about the wonderful beaches we found there, but in the mean time, we hope that you and yours had a wonderful Christmas, a Happy New Year and have many wonderful plans in store for 2020!  Thank you again for reading!
